Question Superperformance fuel cell

Help - Where can I obtain a new fuel cell for an old SPF (#117)? I would prefer an alternative outside the dealer network. Thanks, Bill

Does your car currently have a fuel cell that you need to replace or does it have the stock gas tank?

EZplans

I would try Nick Acton as he makes tanks in Stainless and Ally for originals and replicas. They are custom applications and at prices that crush the rest. He is making a baffled ally tank for my car that looks like a 42 gallon from the bottom however its a direct bolt on wo trunk mods.

Ezplans - I don't thing you'll find a direct replacement tank anywhere else than Superformance and it would cost a lot more to have someone build one. What's going on with your existing tank? You might just think about getting it refurbed.

The rubber inlet tube has failed and although it appears to be a short hose held on by clamps, it apparently is permanently attached to the interior of the tank. Any ideas about where it could be refurbished?

Check with TOTH - they are not too far from you, and I know that they have swapped out stock tanks for fuel cells. They may have some old tanks around or know where they went.

Good luck,
Randy...
