You sound like my parallel universe twin. I also have Cobra brochures for Arntz, Contemporary, Unique and ERA from about 1980. Planned to start one several times but ended up with a couple Corvettes over time. Now, I'm planning to retire and I finally placed a deposit on an ERA street Cobra kit a few months ago as a retirement project. I'm kind of toying with silver - just because of that old copy of a Road & Track magazine I have from 1974 where one of the editors wrote a story about his purchase of a silver 427 street Cobra and did a road test on it.

Don't know about the color but good luck with your plan.
