cobra vs. Lexus F series
Has anyone here every run against a Lexus F series? My dad has one and has been sitting here bragging how it would smoke this and that, including a cbora. Of course we all know that every cobra is built different but I would love to hear how someone here has smoked one so I can throw it back at him.

I laugh at Lexus drivers so I'm of no help.

Not a chance in heck!
I got a chance to drive one a few months ago and they are no big deal. Lots of cars are faster.
My 302 FFR is much faster than the Lexus.
My 427 Roush engined SPF is in another zip code by the time he gets in third gear!

Lexus F series
-416 HP @ 6600 rpm
-371 foot lbs torque @ 5200 rpm
-0 - 60 in 4.6 seconds
-weight 3780 pounds
- 9 pounds per hp
A small block cobra, like my 331 stroker, has 446 hp @ 6000 rpm and 400 Ft pounds of torque at 4500 rpm. Cobra has the weight advantage - 2500 pounds = 5.6 pounds per hp vs a hefty 9 pounds per hp for the Lexus. They might run very close for the 0 - 60 part, then the cobra should pull away quickly up to 120. Then aerodynamics will kick in. Those are my thoughts on the subject.

Here are a couple cars I tested in the same location on cool to cold days. In the real world the Lexus would probably be about a half second slower than the Gallardo.... just my guess though.
