Proposed cost is £93k.
It's not a true AC though. more a Gullwing Cobra based on a DAX replica with an AC badge. Also the shape is all wrong.
Autocar liked it though!

If you want an aluminium Ford engined AC, you need to go to another company licensed to build ACs by Mr Lubinsky - AC Heritage at Brooklands, England - regarded by most AC fans as the spiritual descendent of the original AC Cars company and Autokraft.

I love the shape and lines of the Dax; and John Tojeiro, the designer of the original AC Ace did have a hand in its execution. I like the AC "COB" Cobras as much as the Shelbys - for me it's all about the look, sound and performance, not brand loyalty or hero worship.
As a modern Cobra interpretation I like this car and since I am more of a Cobra fanatic than a Shelby/Ford fanatic, I have no issue with the source of the powertrain. I would be fine with any modern high performance V8 under that long, sexy hood.
If Lubinsky wasn't Lubinsky I would be excited about this car. T'would be nice if the German company could limit their association to a licensing deal and go ahead with production. I'd have one in a heartbeat.

For £93k ($150k) I would expect more than a warmed over Dax.

Well the website claims they use a unique, proprietary handmade aluminum body. Couple that with factory assembly, in-house R&D and engineering, if it's all true - that makes it far more than a warmed-over Dax.
