Pischkes revisited
For all of us who knew chris pischke or just ate at his restaurant. Cid, his former chef and his wife have opened a new place called Local Breeze. It is at 4th avenue and filmore. Great place, food is as good as Pischke's (alot of the same recipes). Chris's son works there as a cook on the weekends. Great sevice and the prices are right also. Just wondering if we can get a caravan on a saturday or sunday morning for brunch or ? Alot of parking
on the premises and the area is okay location from all the rehab of downtown.
The shrimp omelette is still the greatest. Inside or outside dining. Misters etc.
There 2 weeks ago outside and perfect at 110 and felt like 75 or80 on patio. I just want everyone who did not know Local Breeze and who runs it. By the way, Cid was first cook at Pischkes and married the first waitress also.
