What the fellow doesn't realise is that the price of entry for a proper Kirkham - and to a slightly lesser extent ERA - today is close to (if not higher than) the adjusted equivalent of buying an original Cobra back in the day. Cobras weren't always rare, collectable automotive heirlooms; as a matter of fact they had a hard time practically giving them away at the end. The person who could buy a Cobra back then is the same "type" of person who can buy a high end replica today. Posers my arse.
