I thought they were 4 bangers. That one is for sure an inline 6. How much power did they make?

All Aces were 6 cylinders but there were 3 different engines; The AC, Bristol, and Zephyr 2.6. Horsepower ratings were from approx 85HP for the lowest HP version AC engine and went up to 170HP for the highest HP Zephyr engine. The Bristol version (which this car has) was rated at 125HP.

It's a 57 even thought he description says 75. Or is it backwards?
(It really is a 57 but the typo really nags me.)

It's been a long time, but my recollection is that the Bristol engine was a pretty unusual design. It had hemispherical combustion chambers with pushrods. The offside valves were driven by crossover pushrods driven by an additional intermediate rocker. Probably not so good for high rpm.

If your looking for additional info regarding AC. They currently advertise in MotorSport magazine ( UK ) as employing AC Factory craftsman:
" Welcome to the AC Heritage at Brooklands Motor Racing Circuit,Weybridge, England. "
"Welcome to AC Heritage, the Brand new site for all things AC Cars, it's history, right now and it's exciting future!
The former Brooklands Motor Racing Circuit, the spiritual home of motor racing in the UK and the first purpose built circuit anywhere in the world, now home to the Brooklands Museum in Weybridge is to be the location for the AC Heritage Works facility.
Located in the former Brooklands Automobile Racing Club Members buildings, at the top of the infamous Test Hill will now house the AC Heritage works
Project 'New Era' to restore and bring the buildings back to life has already started and when complete will provide for traditional hand build AC cars and restoration facility, as well as adding to the 'Brooklands Experience'
You will be able to watch the progress of the restoration of the building and be able to look at some great images of early AC Cars and their legendary drivers, up to the production of todays AC Ace Mk2 & 3 right here at AC Heritage @ Brooklands Motor Racing Circuit. "

Ac Heritage is one of the two 'official' manufacturers of ACs in Europe, the other being AC Cars in Germany:
