Need a BODY!
Looking for a front clip or complete E.M. body (series 111) for a friend whose front end meet with an immovable object. Months of e-mails and phone calls to E.M. have produced zero replys. Hopefully there's one out there that is an orphan, and needs a good home. If it's not a series 111, we might be able to adapt it. Open to any ideas, leads, etc.
Has anyone been able to make contact w/ E.M.? TIA, Ted |
Why not takle a ride over to Hunter, and see if what they make is close

Posted this late yesterday, looking for other options from members who may not have seen this. |
This is just a stab in the dark, but the rumor always was that F5 used an Everrret-Morrison body to make their molds. if that is the case then maybe check an F5 car and see how close the front clips are.

B&B can help if it will fit, if you would please take a few shots and hold up a tape I would ck my mold to see how close it is, I have a mold to make a wall display if the damage is not to far back and I can make one of them for you for about 400.00 if you need a bigger section I can tape off the mold and make you what ever you need. If you can make our open house on oct 10th and 11th we will have one of the front clips as a give away as a door prize?

Cobra Body parts
I have a fiberglass Cobra body that I would be willing to sell. I bought it originally to build a trailer to tow behind my Cobra.
I'm about ready to give up. I would be willing to sell just the front clip, or both the front and rear. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...cobra_body.jpg The hood is molded-in, so it would need to be cut out. There is a trunk-lid too, not shown in the picture (no doors). This was originally an audio display buck at a Best Buy store. The body is located in Michigan, about thirty miles outside of Detroit. regards, Jeff |
Hey Jeff,
I would be interested in the rear clip if Ted wants just the front clip. I am in Florida also so we could work out the logistics if he is interested. Ted?? Jeff, what do you want for both halfs so ted and I will know. If Ted isn't let me know what you want for the back half only and if your willing to part with just it? Thanks, Earl |
Thanks for all the help guys ! Looks like Jerry Clayton has the winning entry, now we just need to figure out how to get it here!!?? Anybody headed south with a trailer??
( Jerrys in Bartlet, IL., and we are in Sarasota, Fl. We could meet-up some where if you're not comming quite this far. Ted |
Earl: Really not interested in the audio display body. We want to keep the car all E.M.
Ted |
Earl: guess I wasn't paying attention. You need a REAR clip? We should end up with one one if our present plan works out. Let me know if you're interested.
Ted |
Ted,
Thanks, let me know what you have to get for it. Earl |
Earl: give me a call at 941-730-2020.

Earl -
Thanks for the heads-up - no wonder I never hear from anybody on clubcobra! I switched from Comcast to AT&T last year when AT&T announced their DVR that can record four TV programs at the same time. Guess I never changed my e-mail addy here. Fixed now. regards, Jeff |
