Where do you buy your race slicks?
I recently found out my source for 15" slicks for my Cobra has retired and I was wondering what your sources are. What sizes do you use and what have you been paying lately.
I went on the Hoosier site and found they have some great deals on their discontinued tires; example some 26" X 15" X 8" for $55 ea and their 27" X 15" X 11" for $100 ea with free shipping. I have always ran 26 X 10" tires on my rear and I am not sure I can run the extra 1" in width and height without some modifications. Compounds on these tires are pretty much in the middle of the chart. The fact they are discontinued only means they were new last fall and that does not concern me. What sizes do you run and where did you get them?
