Must Get To The Glen, Again
Once again time to alert all the racers that the Driving Ambitions 3 day extravaganza will be taking place Oct 5,6,7. at Watking Glen Int'l Raceway in upstate NY. Lot's of exciting action to take place at the track and also back at the Seneca Lodge.
At he track DD will be trying to embarras Cranky by lapping him twice every 10 laps.(never happen) also SDW will be attempting to run 3 full days without wearing out his tires and or brakes.
Back at the motel all will be attempting to out drink SDW (never happen) and also attempting to get the fire started without the use of 110 octane race gas.
BTW race gas does work rather well when you run out of kindling.
See all you racers at the Glen,
RD

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!
Cranky,
I just ordered my parts this a.m. Tires and brakes are just getting broken in.
Do we know who all is going??????
If we have a large turnout, I think I'll bring my Weber grill and we can BBQ all three days. What do you think??? Another added attraction to Club Cranky at the Track???? YEAH!
For those who don't know, Club Cranky is turning into THE meeting place at all track events. Club Cranky is a large tent, about 10'x20' that Cranky and I stick between both our 20 foot trailers. Its great against all the elements, rain and sun.
So who's coming and what do you want to eat???
Chicken Wings?
Hot Dogs?
Burgers?
Ribs?
What kind of non alcoholic drinks?
Bring a little something and I'll be glad to cook it between run groups.
In the evening, we'll get Cranky all gooned up on Gin & Tonics and watch him curl up in the fetal position next to the fire
........AGAIN!
Love & Kisses,
SDW

Fruityass, sausage smuggler...sounds like a match made in heaven.
I don't know about lapping cranky (wait.. thats sounds bad) er, passing him every ten go-rounds, I'm lucky that passing is only allowed on the straights where my FE can run and not in the corners where the little guys claim they rule. We'll have to see.
I vote for burgers at the track, and chicken/ribs for dinner one night back at the lodge.
So how about it csxsunshine? You coming or what. It's us two against all the rest of them.
FE Don
PS We'll miss you Hank, but a lapping day at Sebring don't sound so bad.

This jersey boy is just waiting for a little clarification on Laurens part (anyone got any juice with her), then my payment check is in the mail. Lodging, hell, isn't that what I got a nice warm sleeping bag and a jeep for. Besides, I hear that olde SDW leaves everyone rolling with laughter early in to the morning as a tactic to try and keep them off balance for the next day on the road course ........

PS: Gonna have to bring up my convertible top and "Cobra Condom" just in case we have another episode like August 11th at Pocono (where I turned my little blue Cobra in to a jacuzzi for the afternoon......with no "Cheetah girls in site)........

Cranky's got pull
Enrico,
You should come down anyway! Peter Baselice is coming without his GT350 just to get gooned up with Cranky, SDW and the rest of the Joisey Mafia. Don's right, we'll miss you!
Bill,
Since Cranky is an instructor maybe he can help out with Lauren.
Wave a check under her nose, I'm sure that'll convince her!; She is trying to support a Trans Am team after all.
We can scare up some room somewhere I'm sure. Maybe you can stay with Don. I heard Don likes to recreate the scene from "Trains, Planes and Automobiles" in the middle of the night. You know the scene,
S. Martin: "I got my hands between two soft, warm pillows"
J. Candy: Those aren't pillows!!!!...AAARGH! How about those Jets"

Whenever you want!
Bruce,
Cranky and I will be there Thursday night for early Tech inspection. After a full day of racing on Firday, I suspect we'll be eating at the Seneca around 7 or 7:30 pm.
If its not too hot out, we'll get a bonfire going between the main buildings up on the hill. Just look for Cranky passed out on the ground.
Stay away from Don Durner...he's a 'touchy, feely" kind of guy!
Bill,
Cranky talked to Lauren, you're all set, send in your check!

John,
I gots a tow vehicle (aka:my daily driver) that might need a new transmission , which may take "Da Money" earmarked for "Da Track". If so, then "Da Track Time" I gots "da wife's" permission to be at goes down the toilet big time for the rest of "da season". Monday am is "da appointment" for "da experts" to look at "da transmission" and let me know. Not even "da bunnies" know the outcome of this one beforehand................Otherwise, we be ready to rock and roll .............
Sincerely,
Bill S.
PS; Why do I feel the forces of evil are working against me this year in regards to my racing activities

Well..............
Bill,
Its just Da way it is. Last 4 months:
- New Hot Water Heater
- A/C Repair in house
- 4WD repair on Expedition
- Brake Job on Expedition
- Repair brake explosion on Mustang
..plus additional familiy expenses that I had to just cut off due to a 22% workforce reduction.
...But I'm still going. God Bless plastic.
