low car count for June event? hummmm..., maybe with special dispensation from McPope they will invite the Cheeter.McCrankster, any chance of getting one of those housing units like you boys got at VIR for the ElkHart event?

That June event was/is a first time event for the Northwoods Shelby Club at the new track.
The event at Elkhart Lake has been run for many years and a good field of Ford Powered racers will show.

I guess I should start looking for a "clubhouse" near the track for Sept. I'm on it.

The September event sells out quickly, so if your going sign up early. Cranky, I spoke with the northwoods club(Gary Hamman) about us desert rats pitting with all you east coast guys, trying to carve out some pit space. How many guys going from your group? scott.

Scott,
Right now it looks like just three, John McMahon, Bruce Chervenak, and Myself. I will be giving Elkhart Lake my best sales pitch this weekend at VIR and Summit Point.
We are glutons for punishment, two tracks in 4 days.

Will sign up for Elkhart Lake as soon as they post the entry forms.
How about you going with us to the Glen in October. You are already more than halfway there at Elkhart Lake.
Three full days in the fall is perfect at the Glen. This is our last event for the year so we disconnect the rev limiter and go nuts.
