Default New FFR Spec Racer track record at Thunderhill

Guys,

Pretty excited, and just wanted to share.

I did a personal best of 2:03.7 lap time at Thunderhill during qualifying in my FFR Spec Racer this sunday. This is on well used Kumho Victoracers. Best time last race was a 2:05.001 .

This is with the 225 HP stock 5.0 Mustang motor and 2.73 rear gears.

David

Thumbs up

Hey David,

That rocks! It's amazing that you can turn that kinda time, while running 225HP to 2.73 gears.

This is a testiment that "driver skills" are where it's at!

Thanks for sharing!

Have Fun,
Randy R...

David,

Your post says stock 225 hp motor, but your profile info says supercharged 302cid 424 rwhp. So which is it, stock or blown. And don't tell me you have two FFR's, that's just not fair. Cograts on beating your best time. "All that work, all that practice, all those tires, and for what a fraction of a second?" Damn right!

Hmpf. My track record at Charlotte got broken this weekend by John McIver. So I went back out and reclaimed the record only to have John take it away from me again. Hmpf.

:-)
