Default Trans-Am tires needed

help! I need a coupla used tires(27-14-16,rears) for my latest creation. Worn out ones will do just fine, I'm doing the body work so I don't want to ruin a set of new ones, just want to make sure they fit. T-A Jim, you got any pull?

Bruce,

I'll ask the LaBarbara's if they have any from this season.

Weenies? I resemble that remark!

If John strikes out with Rich and Linda, and Don's lead comes up empty, you could give this guy a shout-
Gary Blalock, BFG's Trans-Am Tire guy:

gary.blalock@us.michelin.com

Tell him Jim Burke from Trans-Am tech sent ya. He should be able to either fix you up or send you in the right direction

They may still have some used ones (200s, see next sentence) from VIR two weeks ago. BTW, TA dry tires are made in 2 compounds -a hard 75, and a much softer 200. 200s are good for 5-10 qualifying laps and a 100 mi. race, and can be toast after that if slid around on, so if yer gonna use em' for mock-up they should be OK.

Bruce,

I managed to get you a full set; front and rear; from some Trans Am buddies. I'll pick them up this weekend, just have Bill K. stop by my house and take them with him when he and Mustang Man (Tim Lewis) come up to see you.

John

I'll pick them up at your convenience since I live closer to you than Bill does.

Don't know when we are going to Pittsburgh since that is up to Bill and Bruce but I'll stuff these tires into my tool shed along with the many other tires that are part of my growing collection.

Don't call EPA on me!!!

My wife says that I'm "overtired."

Bruce,

I picked up four scrubbed Trans Am BFG G Force tires today;

Fronts - 325/35R16
Rears - 335/45R16

Bill K just left my house with them and you should have them when he sees you on Tuesday!

JM
