Something Special for DVSFIII

Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course will be hosting the SVRA Vintage Races June 19-22, 2003. Mid-Ohio is about 60 miles north of Columbus. SVRA specializes in 60's - 80's race cars and they really RACE. See previous post here in Racing Talk "Zippo Grand Prix at the Glen" from mid Sept for some info on an SVRA event. Just something else to make this a great vacation trip.

How about June 18 and or 19 doing some laps at Nelson Ledges. The 20th at Mid Ohio and in the evening hanging with the party guys at the Fling. Same thing on the 21st. The best of both worlds, racing in the daytime drinking at night.
If you can make it happen Club Cranky guys will be there.

Yupper....I'd sure like to do something along the lines of what Cranky says.

Should have the 289 done by then so I can get some seat time in it in case the McStang ain't up and running yet.

There is also another annual Cobra bash in Ohio around the same time as SF, Norm Good and Mark Adam usually go to that as well. Maybe they would like to join us too.

Can anyone help with info regarding dvsf III and the Cobra run?
Hope no one minds a west coast boy dropping by to have a little fun. Who can I contact regarding singing up, the cost and pit arrangements, camping, if any, have a self contained motor home and enclosed trailer. If not, then a list of hotels or even a web sight to get info from would be great. Have family in Zanesville, would like to incorporate a family run with a Cobra run.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The new web site is still being done. Almost there, and it is fabulous!

For hotels, and a good feeling about the Fling, check out www.cobras.com last years Fling, but the hotels are the same.

Motor homes, Semi's, tents, what ever you have is welcome. Arrangements are already made for you!

Thanks for the info. Will take a look at your web site soon. If I have a ? after that I will give a call. I realize it is a ways off, but if I don't start to make arrangements now, these guys on the West coast will nickel and dime me to death with there one and two day local track time events. Don't get me wrong they are alot of fun, but I'm just a poor boy who is living out a 36 year dream of owning one of the best looking cars ever built and funds are limited.
Look forward to meeting a whole new batch of owners in 06/03.
