Carb flaters under hard braking and sharp turns..
Need some help with my carbs.
When I am on the race track under hard breaking my engine tries to die. I can keep my engine running by keeping my rpms up but I would really like to just let up on the gas until I am ready to get back into the throtle.
Here are my particulars:
428 CJ 2X4 Edelbrock 600 cfms (front jets are .078 and rears are .068)on a Edelbrock Medium Riser; Holley Red electric fuel pump: Fram fire wall mounted fuel filter;Cam= Crane 572 lift with 235 duration solid lifters; Crane matched double springs; Crane solid lifters; Sig Erson roller rockers w/ Smith push rods; MSD Distributor; MSD 6AL Ign Box; MSD Black vibration proof Coil; bored .030 over; 10.6 : 1 compression; Speed Pro forged flat top pistons; forged eagle rods; Federal Mogul bearings.
Open for any suggestions asap. Leaving for Road America next week.
Thanks,
Clois
