start up in racing

I'm in my early forties, became very successful in business. I have participated in some race schools, skip barber as well as others. So I got the bug now. How does one get into racing. I'm not one of those guy's who takes a few courses and claims to be a racer. I want to really would like to go to the next level. Any suggestions?
