That is one bad bus. Take a look at the build site. Twin turbo 993 porshe motor powering the bus from I can tell.

It was a lot more than a simple engine swap. The bus was extensively reworked to accomodate the Porsche running gear. The body was lengthened
AND widened to take the Porsche suspension and there was a LOT of fab
work and custom sheet metal used in the build. The build took 45 months
to complete and it's easy to see why!

Never under estimate little square cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the last road race at NPR here in south Louisiana, a guy showed up in a Mini......this was not a stock Mini by any means, but a non-street legal race car made from a stock mini......It did not sound to good and did not look like he had real good tires, BUT, he passed ex-Bush Grand National cars right and left all day.......he quickly got my respect as well as almost every driver out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's one hot bus!! What year was that thing, '68, '69 body style? My folks had a red one way back when. I wonder how much it cost to put that thing together?
