Looks like the story comes from a book called the "The Untouchables" by Brian Shul and Walter Watson, Jr. But I couldn't find the exact text and there are many books on the Blackbird.
Not to dump in your messkit but don't you think that credit should be given where due?
So unless you were a "Sled Driver" perhaps you should reconsider your misleading presentation. Regardless it is a great story, thanks for posting.
