Default A&C Body

Just curious on how much bodywork is required on an A&C body.

less than any other body on the market, as long as you get the no paint gell coat option

I received my body last year and it’s A black gel coat. I’m not planning on painting it. I might have it clear coated. I’m super happy with it. I had it shipped to California and I was frikin out that it was going to be damaged during shipping, but it arrived in perfect shape.

The fiberglass work and the quality of the gel coat is outstanding. I heard everyone talk about how great it is and when mine arrived I was still pleasantly surprised. Like many others, I do not plan on painting it anytime soon.

Just be forewarned that it is not compatible with all engines. The transmission tunnel and firewall is extremely spacious, more so than really necessary in a lot of ways (trans tunnel is massive and wastes interior space in bellhousing area). The foot boxes get really tight around the engine and will not clear all of engines without considerable modifications. This probably doesn't effect 99% of A&C builds but if you are planning on doing a Coyote just be prepared for a lot of fun trying to make it work
