Default Choosing a manufacturer..... Help

I am in the process of narrowing my choice of Manufacturers. I have narrowed it down to B&B, Antique & Collectible, FFR and ERA. I know the people here own A&C's but what drove you to choose A&C over these others?

Thank you in advance.
Billy

I responded to you on the F5 page, but here goes. THE BODY IN GEL COAT SAVED ME ABOUT $5000.00 IN BODY WORK< PREP AND PAINT. The strength of the body (fiberglass thickness) is unbelievable. The manual is "a study in the abstract of assembly instructions". If you are not mechanically inclined do not attempt to build a Cobra. Pay some one to do it for you. 9000 + miles could not be happier with my choice. Might have done a few things different but still get the looks and just got "Best in Show -Modified" for a 2-seat sports car cruise night. Those that have this mfg can be of great assistance to you. If you are looking for one already done, check out "Cobras for Sale" for an A & C in Ft. Wayne, IN. Look for John Poling's car. It's a beauty, Lot's of great personnal touches.
Good Luck.
Jim

Thanks Jim........... I actually drove about 2 1/2 hours tonight to go see a kit a gentleman has just received from A&C. I was impressed with the body. The only thing he mentioned is that there were a lot of peices that are standard in other kits that were not included in his. Thanks again

Billy

Wow, am I slow. Thanks for the kind note Jim.

Billy and I have e-mailed back and forth several times, as a matter of fact, it's interesting you sent him my way. I originally suggested he post his thread here on the A&C forum.

It's not looking very promising for the sale of Cobie, but that's okay, evidently he and I are not done yet.

Thanks again.
John
