Default A&C 1 3/4" roll bar

Does anybody know if the 1.5 roll bar bezel kit from finishline will work with A&C's 1.75 dia roll bar? I bought the 2" kit to be on the safe side but its way to big. I going to send it back and order the 1.5 kit. but I thought I ask some A&C guys what they used first.

I think the 1.5 will be too tight. You need some room for flex. I use the 2" ones and they look fine.

I used the 2" ones and filled the gaps with rope caulking, looks fine. If anyone comes up with rubber grommets to fit the 2" Bezels and the 1 3/4" tubes, I'd be interested in them. I just put in the 2" bezels this winter, wonder how the black rope caulking is going to hold up in the sun.

Stopped in to see Pete Clark at Fast Times Rides in Fredonia, NY. I asked him about the 1 3/4" tube in the 1 1/2" bezels. He said sure, mount the bezel and grommet on a piece of plywood and use a 1/3/4" hole saw nice and easy to cut out the grommet.
I should have asked him first because the 2" bezel is just to big!!! The rope gasket material is affected by the sun.
Any help here on how to fill in the gap when using the 2" grommet on a 1 3/4" roll bar!!!!!!!
Help!
Jim
