Default On the Road after two year build!

Hi All,

For those of you who have been kind enough to share your knowlege, I would like to say "thank you", and I am now on the road after a two year build. Finishing the carpet, and tweaking things. The weather has finally been warm enough here in the North East to get in some drive time. (50 degrees is my threshold for an enjoyable ride)

Best Regards,

Jer

Hey Jer!
Car looks great. Hopefully my car turns out as nice as yours. Also, thirtysomething will now be my new name on the forum , since I am unable to log in as Venomus any longer. Anyways....talk to you later.

Jer,

Looks great. Mine was a year and a half so I know the feeling. Warning -
you will never be done - that is the fun. There is always something to make
it a little bit better. Welcome to the club!

Very nice Jerry. I think everyone under estimates the time it take to do the job right. My A&C BRG body gets dropped off on Tuesday. Let the fun & questions begin.

What a piece of S%#%!

Just kidding Jerry. Beautiful ride! Took me two years as well. So when are we going cruising? Still have my A&C and I will have my TTR EVO done by August. Look me up mj_duell@turntenracing.com

Jerry,
Congrat's on the build being "ALMOST" done, like someone else said, it is never done. You have to do something in the winter.
As far as the help along the way, no problem, we aim to please here at "Club Cobra"/ Antique & Collectible Forum. Wish I knew about this early on in my build. I did find "Roscoe" later in the build and I know I appreciated his advice and experiences.
Have fun with your ride, be careful and enjoy it!
Well done!
Jim

Ya know Jerry, this just makes it a little harder on guys like me who dont have their cars completed. These past couple of nice days were just killing me. Im still waiting on a roll bar I ordered over a month ago. Im not used to waiting for much from A&C.

Enjoy!!!

Aaron,

Take it from me it will be worth the wait! Use the warm weather as an incentive to finish your build. I finished mine in November and had one ride before the snow hit and had to put the car in the barn for the winter. I would go out and start it up every once in awhile and just sit in it. Now any little excuse to go for a ride, and I am gone. Need a quart of milk, I am on it!Pick-up the kids from somewhere, I am gone!

Regards,

Jer

Jerry,
Thing is, when it used to take you 10 minutes to pick up a quart of milk it now takes at least a half hour.

And to think......I still have about a year left before I am done. I think about it all the time. Money and time slow me down but my will and determination will keep me going. It also helps hearing about and seeing pictures like Jerry's. I will be a powered and running with gauges by summers end. By fall, I will have the roll bars made "stainless", and hopefully the interior will be in my garage. With luck...by Christmas ....I may have a windsheild.

Default Congratulations!!!

Hey Jer,

Car came out really nice. I wish you hours & hours of enjoyment with it.
Building one of these is an adventure and a journey well worth the wait as I am sure you already know or will soon find out.

Again, congratulations and good luck.

Tony

Hey Tony! Are you going up to Lake George this year? I am hoping to go for the first time as a participant, and not a spectator

Regards,

Jer
