Default Rear License plate bracket

Hi All: Well if its not one thing its another. Went to attach my rear license plate bracket today and the bolts for the rear license plate lights arn't long enough to handle both the light and bracket. They are press ons so its not like i can remove them. The bracket is from finishline and the light is from AC. Anyone else have this problem and how did you solve it.

Thanks
Automan

Knock out the short ones and replace them with longer ones. I did that exact thing yesterday.

Automan,
I didnt like the look of the bracket so I drilled the trunk lid and used 1/4" SS phillips bolts and and lock nuts and 1/4" thick rubber washers for spacers between the plate and body and bolted it through the lid using all four holes. It's solid and secure and looks cleaner. Just my two cents. Sam
Oh, by the way how did you make out with your brakes?
