I saw a beater ricer the other day at my lunch stop. The car was all black. As I strolled past on my way out I noticed something. The plates were white, all the lettering was black. Not something I would normally notice, Subtle but very cool! By the looks of the car I bet he's had those plates on for some time.

Mike,

The next time you go the DMV.. ask this question. I bring my 1965 car into your state in 1973, which plate would I have gotten? You can use a later plate(year) as a vanity plate not an earlier one.

The issue as I see it, can you take your plate number and apply it to a different year plate?

It would be an interesting question to ask.

Mike

Mike I talked to several people there and used that exact same argument but they wouldn't go for it. No problem if I'd brought a 1965 plate in with me they would have swapped over to that number without a problem. Don't make sense to me either, but then I don't work fer da gubamint...
