Friday Morning departure for Laughlin
Are there any folks from the east side going to Laughlin that want to caravan up to Wickenburg?

Hey sounds good to me. I'm down in SE Chandler around Alma School and Queen Creek so maybe I could rendezvous with you guys along the way since I think most of the east side guys depart from Mesa. If you guys go west on the 202 I could hang out on the side of the freeway just west of the Alma School overpass and join up, just give me a time. If you go down the 60 let me know a good place to join up.

How about in front of McDonalds at Scottsdale Pavillions around 7:30? It's a work day so it's going to take longer to get out of town.

Dan and Sandy
Dan I'll be at the McD's at 7:30 Friday.
Sandy how about we meet at the Village Inn at Alma School and Queen Creek around 6:30 to 6:45. I usually eat breakfast there so I will get there at 6:00 for breackfast for a 6:30/6:45 departure for the Pavillons.

Danr, What time will you be leaving the Paviilions ? If I drove up the Florence Hiway to 60 and then to I-202 and north to the Pavillions, how long would it take from the Hiway 60 and I-202 intersection to the Pavillions ? I have my choice of three ways to get to Phoenix, last Monday I was in the tie-up on I-10 and Baseline due to a crash, it seemed like it took hours to move three miles. If you leave the Pavillions at 7:00 am do you really think that it will take 3 hours to get to Wickenburg ?

Three hours to get to Wickenburg? From where John? From you house? Probably.. From Pavillions only about 1 hour and 40 minutes given weekday traffic. That will leave lots of time for coffee and breakfast and potty stops.. and chasing the little dog around the parking lot..

You are going to clean up after the little dog, aren't you.

Danr, let me get this correct. You'll be leaving at 7:00 am for a 1:40 drive to Wickenburg. That time would be 8:40 am in Wickengurg. Mikiec wants to meet there at 10:00 am. That leaves 1:20 for that little dog of your's to do it's thing around the parking lot. I was thinking of trying to join you guys but I'm not interested in watching your dog for 1:20.

this is a dumb question but.... what's going on up in Laughlin? Why are everyone going up there? A car show?

Heads up for you AZ guys. There is a really big car show in Lake Havasu City (Relics & Rods Annual Run to the Sun) 1000 cars, starting on the 21 st. with a cool street show on Thursday night and the Car show on friday and Saturday. Too bad it conflicts with the Kit car show in Laughlin, but one could visit the show on Friday and then go to Laughlin on Saturday morning.
I'll be in Laughlin Saturday morning bright and early.

I guess I'm assuming we're going thru Kingman.
