Mikie, Do you want to change the destination? It's supposed to rain in Prescott tomorrow. Tortilla Flat or Punkin Center or Tucson is beginning to sound a lot better. Whaddayathink? Besides, the high is supposed to be 51 degrees up toward Sedona.

"A few showers early followed by isolated thundershowers late in the day." Might not be too bad.. Still, 40% is 40%!

Here's my thoughts. The weatherman is never right.

However, If it does rain, Ginny and I will get wet.

Those not wanting to chance the rain can meet at the Chevron station in Apache Junction for a run to Tortilla Flats. The leaving time for that run will be 8:30 am.

Rat boy, Next Saturday is our anniversary gathering.

Mike

McDonald's in Wickenburg at 10:00 Saturday morning 11/28/ We'll leave at 10:30 for a run up Yarnell and into the airport in Sedona. We're all following Pete and his new GPS. Probably a stop in Prescott for fuel and cold hands on warm tummies.

So, how did the morning gathering go at McDonalds? Anything unusual?

Great road trip today, a little cold, a little rain at the end but great friends to hang out with ! Thanks!!!

And about the grenade incident at the Wickenburg McDonalds this morning? The cops had the whole parking lot taped of with the yellow stuff, story was they chased some guy into the lot a little earlier before we got there and when they pulled the guy out of his car a hand grenade fell out of his pocket.

The inside story goes that Mikie had the whole thing staged with some looser so that when our expected large group of Cobras arrived, the parking lot would be empty for us.
What Mikie won't do to keep us happy!

Ralphie (cold, wet and tired but happy!

Mikie.. The weatherman was right this time. Marti and I wound up swimming across the valley. It was interesting. The drive and the guy with the hand grenade and the beer made it special. (Even if, as some reported, the hand grenade that fell out of his pocket was really a cell phone.)

Next time, I choose the wimp option and head for Tortilla Flat! Cobras don't do submarine well.

Rain, What rain.

Dry the entire trip. I do not know what you guys were smoking. OK we got about 30 seconds of the wet stuff around Table Mesa road. I looked east and told Ginny... Dan is getting wet.

Think of the good side... It could have been snow.

I pulled into the garage just as it started to sprinkle. As I sipped my scotch on the back veranda facing south, I wondered where Dan was and how wet he and Marty were getting. Hope it wasn't too cold out there !
