Finally, a good kill.

I finally got the Cobra out on the road tonight and while in the area of 43 and Bell I passed a 2004 or so Stang going the other way so of course I revved it as we passed.
I seen him hit his brakes and turn into AutoZone so I figured maybe some other day.
Now turning off bell to 35th ave what do I see and hear, a boosted Mustang that really wanted to play.
After I gave him 2 good beatings we stooped at a light where he said "what does that weigh 1800 pounds" and I just laughed.
I asked him how much boost he was running as I could really hear it big time and he said 13PSI but the motor was made to run 20 PSI.
As the light turned green I pulled him by 3 cars right of the bat and I wasn't really into it that hard as I would have just spun, next light he wanted more so we did it again and then I waved and did a U-turn and headed home.

I know, I know all you old folks are going to flame me for a little playing but it was my first chance without the wife in the car. For some reason all my challenges happen with her in the passenger seat and it's just not worth hearing her complain.

P.S.
Thanks Jeff, she's pullin pretty hard.

Simple,

When you take the wife out...... use duct tape. :):)

Karl Bebout 01-04-2010 09:12 PM

Dan D Rat, Don't listen to Mikie. His car doesn't have enough power to get him into trouble and I'm sure that your's is much peppier, if Jeff has been tweaking it. That thing about duct tape....Ginny would use it on him, if he didn't have all that facial hair.

Glad all worked out. I guess she is broke in NOW!! We used to have little kill flags to slap on the cowel but would that be PC??

John-Tucson 01-04-2010 10:31 PM

Hey Dan,
I know you are all jazzed bout dustin that Mustang yesterday and that is cool. Your first street kill is always a great memory and keep enjoying it (RFO !!!) You might want to be a little carefully calling out some of Bruce's Toys. I am very confident even his old Falcon could have beaten the same Mustang you smoked. Not to take anything from your first victory but the 4 bangers in those Mustang II's just were not that quick. Maybe you could work your way up to the GT with say ooooh maybe try a 6 cylinder this time.
:LOL::LOL::D

Danr55 01-05-2010 09:43 AM

RAtboy, Are you old enough to remember the story about the hummingbird and the alligator? You should probably investigate that before you get bit! Arrogance is not becoming on anyone.

vettestr 01-05-2010 10:26 AM

Play nice kids. I didn't mean to start shet but was poking @ Dan a bit. All in good spirit

DWRAT 01-05-2010 10:42 AM

Oh Danr, if you had any power you could boast a bit also. Until then I guess others will just boast about beating you.:D

I olny know of Bruces over reated Mustang and figured I'd take a poke back at him for his BS post about oil die that he knows is in my motor.

mikiec 01-05-2010 12:28 PM

DWRAT.

Now you got me curious; what does your car weight and what kind of power does it put out?

I have a ERA FIA; I am guessing it weighs around 2,600 lbs with gas in it...I would like to get it weighed some day when the opportunity presents itself.

DWRAT 01-05-2010 03:55 PM

fastd,
I have no idea on a true HP or weight of the car.
Some day soon I will know hopefully.
Dan

All you know is you issued a nasty beat down to that 'Stang; that's probably enough.
