Chassis OR body, OK. With both, there's GOTTA be a heckuva "story" in there in somewhere. :)

When CSX 3020 was for sale last year at Mecum they advertised it as:
- Reportedly one of only three built with a dry sump oiling system.
I have seen the car locally and it is very very cool. The gentleman who owns it is on cc from time to time.

No, Dick Smith's car was an S/C
Which Comps had dry sump? ...was asked a while ago.
I found (at least) CSX3002, 3004, 3011, 3013, 3016, 3019, 3020.

Were those Comp cars with dry sump fitted with an external oil cap? I saw a picture of that on someone's original Cobra.
Pardon me, Dicks car was 198 as I recall...

The filler cap for the dry sump oil tank is mounted on the passenger fender and uses a cap just like the fuel filler cap on the street 427s

Yeah, I had mistaken 3020 for Dick Smiths car. Like you said, Rodknock, I knew I had seen that somewhere. :)

I have a copy of the invoice from SAI for CSX3020 from when Jack owned the car. TX George is now the proud caretaker. It has a dry sump kit listed on the invoice with numerous other items.
Dry Sump Kit $554.00
Labor was also listed for install of the accessories.
I have read 3002 had the dry sump installed after some trackside running via Bob B. Maybe by the time they made 3020 they figured why not?

Your right it was Spinout
I was thinking Wipeout because the car was wiped out in the movie!
The car did look good at the auction in August 2008
