AHA at Pomona April 24
Anyone going over to the AHA show in Pomona April 24th? Car show is on Saturday,Pomona swapmeet is on Sunday. I will be leaving on either Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning

We are planning an AZCOBRA convoy leaving Friday morning just like we did with the Knottsberry Farm Kit Car Show. I even took off Monday so I could visit the swap meet on Sunday. We still need motel choices, show applications and restaurant decisions. Bill G and I will have parking lot refreshments.

The Sheraton Hotel at the Fairplex is booked up. Do any of you locals know which other motel/hotel we should be looking at for booking? There are some "tough" areas around there where we would prefer not to park our cars overnight.

Covina area may be the best area, it is about 6 miles past the fairplex, but the only thing I saw between the Ontario airport and the fairplex was a Super 8 that didn't look too good. I know that there is a Clarion in the same area, but I have not made reservations either

Bill, I don't think I will be making the trip again this year. I am saving my vacation time for a Colorado trip end of July. Maybe next year.

Rooms at the Fairplex
Broberg speaks with a forked tongue. There are a block of reserved rooms for the A.H.A. show! There are still rooms available at the Fairplex, I just got one! Go to the Repilcarclub.com site and check on the link to the hotel.

Last time we roomed Bill was in a Speedo. I rest my case.
