Damn...

I was giving him at least another year before he put it up for sale.

Mike

If your serious post it over on FFCobra.com in the for sale section.

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 03-29-2010 04:15 PM

Dan, screw your head back on. Once you get the cobra running, you may never have to touch it again. Like mine.

AZ Bob

Dan,

We didn't even get to race...

mikiec 03-29-2010 04:32 PM

Dan,

As Bob says... All the bugs should be out of it now. Drive it and enjoy.

Mike

Guy's
I do agree, the car is 100% or I would not try to move it at full price, ask Bruce when it was down I offered it to him for $20K because I was done with it.
Thanks to Jeff it is back to 100% and ready to run.
I've really only had 1 major problem, the cam and that is better then it ever was.

I think I have lost the love at this time and my new house is closing this week so I will not have much time for it anymore.

If it sells it sells and if it doesn't it doesn't.

I'm pretty sure in time I will have the love back so either way I win.

Thanks for the thoughts.

Dan

So are you saying you don't want to trade for the "46 Ford?

DWRAT 03-30-2010 07:20 AM

No more Fords for me for a while.
My next car will be a LS-7 or something like that.

or someting like this could also be fun.

I doubt a Chevy can digest a nut any better than a Ford. :D

DWRAT 03-30-2010 09:22 AM

If I had a Chevy it would have never needed NOS to begin with.
Ford + NOS = Chevy power

Karl Bebout 03-30-2010 09:34 AM

That's the way to win friends and influence enemies, on this forum. Atta Boy!

Yeah, but you can't stop a Chevy from leaking. :D

Hey Dan, you know why these guys are selling, don't ya? They REALLY wanted a FORD!

Ralph :MECOOL:

Paul Gillespie 03-30-2010 11:59 AM

R u kidding me, That SB Ford had wwaayy to much power for you in Laughlin, heck I about crapped my pants just watching that display of power(lack of control) and that was without the new cam and before you lost your nuts. It takes a lot of time to feel comfortable driving these cars along with constant practice. These toys will always need extra care and feeding and the more power the care & feeding. Get out and drive it, have fun, go do a weekend with NASA or ProAutoRacing at Firebird (Road Racing). In the meantime this car has all the power to can handle...

Rookie Rat,
Well Dan the general consensus is "just go drive the darn thing" and you will find the same warm n fuzzy you had before this last round of repair. She has enough HP to get you in all kinds of trouble but think Paul was a bit too cruel with the Geo, still laughing though. Quite feeding it vitamins and iron supplement and drive it like you stole it.

mikiec 03-30-2010 03:53 PM

Give it to the crazy lady and then report it stolen.

DWRAT 03-30-2010 04:46 PM

Jeff just says she crazy to try to cover things up if you know what I mean.
