Does Karl know that the 17th is also the car show in Globe ? Isn't that where the best "Mexican Reataurant" is located ?

I went to the insurance adjuster today. The plan is to have the body and the gas tank removed and find out the extent of the frame damage. FFR has the taillight, bumper, and aluminum panels that I'll need. While the body is off it will be repaired. I hope that i'll be looking at three weeks of down time so that I can replace the windshield and install a wiring kit and relocate the tack about 1 1/2" to the right, repaint the side pipes, weld up the leak in one pipe, and install a thin glove box.

Possibly. My wife is working on Saturday and she hasn't relinquished her seat or the keys yet. Gotta get back in time for the Long Beach ALMS race.

Scotchman, the ride might be "iffy" if Danr actually did the work to his car. Now, if he had his favorite mechanic do it, you're probably fairly safe.

Karl, My favorite mechanic (me) did the work so we're safe. Took it out Wednesday nite and ran it hard for a while. Really runs well. We could even change the route to include a Roosevelt Lake Loop if everyone is so inclined...or not. In any event, we'll save pictures of Cobras for you.

My Li'l Cobra doesn't do dirt, so I'll turn around when the pavement ends.

Dale, WE DON'T DO DIRT! The loop is up the B-Line Hwy then turn south at Jakes Corner and come back through Punkin Center and Globe. It's a nice drive about 100 miles. Usually interupted for a meal at Punkin Center. Maybe some photos at the Bridge.

Gotcha. That's a great cruise, although I don't think anywhere near as fun/challenging as the Apache Trail at sunrise. I may still join-in, but I'll turn around early because I've got an ALMS gathering at my place. The Long Beach race is this weekend.
4x4 Cobra? Now that's an idea. I was considering hybrid power, but maybe I could do both.

That's right Fitz. We're taking the short run out past the lake.
