For Sale: 25K obo
FFR MK1 for sale. AZ titled as a 1965 cobra, no emissions Yea! Many trophies best of show, 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place (you can have these if you wish) 302 FI Mustang motor Trick flow heads and intake (Extra intake) Cam 65mm throttle body 80mm MAS 24lbs injectors 320 RWHP dynoed Aluminum Radiator Electric Radiator fan (1 extra if you want it) 5 speed Trans Hidden kill switch Remote Battery lugs for trickle charging or jump starting 8.8 Posi 375 rear end with upgraded 5 lug axles Disk brakes Lincoln front (5lug) Bear Racing Rear Brakes 5 Lug Custom 3 piece Simpson Wheels (NO rubbing front or back) Tan Leather interior is not prefect, some wear but still in very good shape White Face Auto Meter Gauges Speedo, Tachometer, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, Clock Two steering wheels 1 wooden one and 1 Black leather wrapped On board Halon Fire Suppression Barcelona Red with stripes of bronze powder and body color (a little brighter than Ghost Stripes) Flamming River “quick” rack and pinion Dropped drivers foot box Dual chrome roll bars (maybe the first FFR with dual chrome roll bars) Owner builder I put a layer of aluminum silicone between the frame and all aluminum panels before I riveted them in place. NO squeaks or rattles. I used a bunch more rivets than the instructions called for. I tried to use Blue or Red locktite on every nut and bolt. I’m sure there might be a few minor nuts and bolts missed but not any major nut and bolts. Adjustable Coil over shocks Short throw shifter Car tracks straight, corners like it is on rails and is very sorted out. It has never left me stranded and still gets great gas mileage. I built the cobra in 3 months taking my time to do everything right the first time or maybe the second time ;). I love this car but need to sell off my toys for early retirement. I have been through 2 illnesses with cancer. Two different ones and I think at 57 I would rather sell off a few toys and retire. cell 480-262-1156 tojnanson@cox.netJerry. |

I will deliver this car (drive it) to you if you pay for the expenses of travel. |
Man! I can't believe this Cobra has not sold. If
you tried to duplicate this build you could not do it for 25K. No way No how! Jerry is a a genuine car nut and takes care of his vehicles. I personally will vouch for the detail and care he used to build this beautiful Cobra. There is not a better deal out there than this one if you want an instant Cobra that looks great and wins shows. Jerry and Veronica are class acts. If I had the bucks I would buy it. Hersh:) |
Thats what keeps me looking at FFR's, they often sell at a remarkable price for what you get. This one has some nice specs all right and a nice price.
...need pictures though... |
FFCobra is now FFcars.
|
For a fast sell, put it on Craigslist in your area.
|
You need to post pictures or at least a link to pictures.
I am in the market for the right car but have no idea what your selling. |
"I am in the market for the right car ..."
OH NO! Not again.... Mikie, did you put him up to this? Hide your puppies.. |
For the right price, mine will be gone too:eek:! Ford Roadster looks pretty good%/ or old Vette.
|
Jerry's car was the first FFR I rode in. His attention to detail caused me to build my own.
I may have additional pics of this somewhere if an interested buyer wants them. Fitz... Your's is for sale like mine is for sale. :):) Mike |
I will send you all the pictures you want but I don't know how to post them here or link to them. just email me tojnanson@cox.net
|
I will post them for you.
E-mail sent. |
