Estrella is about 35 miles from Central Phoenix. Very nice area. Great for kids, lakes, parks, bike and hiking trails.

Close to Phoenix International Raceway!

Beware of HOA CCRs. Some of the "master plan" developments in the valley will require you to park all of your vehicles inside the garage with the door closed. They even get twitterpated about visitors vehicles. The HOA police would probably frown on revving your Cobra in the driveway while you make an adjustment. Burnouts will get you in trouble with them.

We looked down in Queen Creek (I was working in Chandler).

Estreela Mtn ranch is beaustifu l set at the edge of the desert. I you are retired then no big deal. If you still work you will have almost an hour commute into the city during rush hour both ways. I have several of my patients who live in there and love it as long as they dont still work in Phoenix.

almost an hour isn't to bad . Young family so amenities are important . The parking is a concern . Thanks

My brother lived there a few years backed. Like it well enough. No HOA grief that I know of, but he's not a car guy.

Have your realtor send you a copy of the CCR's and bylaws. Also, HOA fees.

From what I have seen it is a nice area. Just to far out of town for me.

Estrella Mountain Ranch has been especially hard hit by the economy. Last time I checked well over 1/3 of the houses are empty and their value continues to plummet.

It is the tip of civilization for illegals coming up the Gila River corridor and the related problems are beginning to show up.

HOA's suck out there. I understand the fees are really high.

There are few services available within 15 miles, but Safeway should be up and operation by the end of the years. No gas, a new bank, some retail space and some community buildings.

I have a friend that lives. Nearest stores are near the I-10 or about 10 miles away. Makes going to Home Depot for some supplies an hour adventure. Too far out for me.

OK so I am a realtor who lives close to Estrella Mountain Ranch......Love the area....HOA fees are low considering what you get......Basha's was to open a store here but since they went almost belly up...Safeway is to open the store that is already built.....
Send me an email at: georoberts@eathlink.net I have a PowerPoint presentation that I did on the area....it is a great buy right now....Cheers...Posi.....

I agree with George, a very nice community, with a good golf course. Dont listen about driving to far , anywhere you drive in AZ is a great drive. We live in a retirement community in Buckeye the drives , are not that bad. You just plan your time to where you go. We looked at Estrella 12 years ago and thought is was too far , and now we live 20 miles passed it. Good luck, prices are right.

IT MUST BE FATE !!! You are destined to buy in Estrella Mountain Ranch. I did the PowerPoint with Office 2007 which gives a.ppsx extension, doesn't work with older versions of office. OK now the big question, why are you on this site? Do you have a Cobra? Cheers.....Posi (George)

Wife just called she printed out the power point at work along with a cobra pic. Can't wait to see it .
