Danr55 06-29-2010 09:14 PM

THere is a group leaving Friday morning from Brown and Ellsworth at 7:00. We can pick up anyone who wants to come up the B-line at Bush Hwy around 7:20 or so, but we have to know to look for you.

dave from mesa 06-29-2010 09:41 PM

Let them catch up!

mikiec 06-30-2010 09:30 AM

Bob Broberg and a few others will be leaving the Gas station at 9am.

Danr55 06-30-2010 10:03 AM

Do you suppose that we could all get together and meet at a time in the middle? Say 8:00 AM departure?

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 06-30-2010 10:15 AM

Well, here we go again. Clutch slave cylinder failed on way home from 5 N Diner. Even with clutch to floor it is still engaged. More work to be done but I'll be in my truck for the Heber trip....again. Jim asked me to bring ice so I will load up in Heber before 6pm arrival at Jim's humble abode. Now it doesn't matter when I leave.

Bob, That sucks...

Maybe time for Charlie to look at it.

Bob,
Sell that POS, I know someone looking for a car just like yours.
I bet it is still worth $30K broken and all.:D

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 06-30-2010 12:08 PM

Just need to fabricate a new bracket for the slave cylinder or give more support to the current one. I'll re-start on the project Sunday or Monday after Heber.
Dan, you couldn't afford this car. Couldn't handle it either.

DWRAT 06-30-2010 02:21 PM

That's a nice one for sure but way out of my price range.

I want to spend around $20K but willing to go up to $35K for the right car(Backdraft with LS-7 or Superformance)
or $30K for a old repaired and currently broken Superformance.

Danr55 06-30-2010 03:11 PM

HMM? I'll have to think on that one.

mikiec 06-30-2010 03:29 PM

Try this one...

Mike, are you kidding? He'd never buy an orange car.

mikiec 06-30-2010 05:15 PM

Why? He had a purple car. This would be a step in the right direction.

Paul Gillespie 06-30-2010 05:33 PM

Still too much power, how about this one...

Danr55 06-30-2010 07:21 PM

Hey Mikie, Paul may be on to something...

Car Nut 06-30-2010 08:39 PM

I think I'll be doing the 9 am from Shell on Shea. **)

Paul, I think that car is a little to much for our buddy, maybe an old VW ragtop. Or even a Karman Ghia, they're kind of racey.

DWRAT 06-30-2010 08:57 PM

Watch it Car Nut, the wifes new turbo BMW will be here next week and it will out run that GT-500 you poke around in.
I might be out looking for you at stop lights soon.

Danr55 06-30-2010 09:12 PM

"I might be out looking for you at stop lights soon." You gonna wave bye-bye in his rear view mirror?
