Where are you in China? I have spent almost 2 years working in Shanghai but am back now. Sure missed good food, hot women and my Cobra.

PS.... I agree about the ear plugs....My 522 motor at 10 feet registers 92 dba at idle and 116 dba at 2600 rpm.

That roughly translates to about 74 dba and 95 dba respectively at 80 feet away. :D

Mohuska, ahhh, Shanghai, fond memories, I spent ten years there constructing three factories, went to Tianjin and now in Zhuhia, Southern China, 45 mins from Hong Kong. Not sure what you are refering to when you say hot women:confused: I being an upstanding gent and all, go to church regularly on Sunday, wait a minute there ain't no churches here, sooo what does that leave??????:LOL: yep, you guessed it wine, women and song and not necessarily in that order. Can anyone tell me what the DB level is with the SPF MK111 standard sidepipes that are supplied by the factory? I am concerned about the noise being too loud since I live in a retirement community and really don't want to scare the old folks too much, well not too much anyway.:LOL:

Also, is there a difference in the tonal effect coming from SS pipes vs the mild steel?

Any help would be much apprecaited.

Thanks,:D tin-man
