Ben Avery

I will be at Ben Avery on Saturday the 26th 10 am. Going to site in my new AR15.

DWRAT 03-22-2011 09:22 PM

mike,
What AR did you get?

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 03-22-2011 11:43 PM

I'll join you. I can always practice with something. I love to kill paper.
I'll bring some interesting firearms.
AZ Bob

Dan, I forgot the mfr but it looks just like a pre-ban AR-15 Sporter SP1 Carbine.

Dan, A plain Jane no frills AR15. Re-milled M16A1 upper A2 lower.

Centuary International Arms made in Vermont. Wanted to keep it American.
Bring yours on Saturday.

Nice Mike.
If I'm in town I will be there but most likely out of town this weekend.(up to the boss).

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 03-23-2011 08:59 AM

Mikie, I'll bring my spotting scope and tripod so you can see where you hit the target way out at 15 feet.
AZ Bob

mikiec 03-23-2011 10:10 AM

Thanks Bob.

mikiec 03-23-2011 07:48 PM

Dan, Let the boss go out on her own and join the boys.

mikiec 03-23-2011 08:38 PM

Mr. Classic and Mr. Nanson,

Will we see you there?

Karl Bebout 03-24-2011 08:33 AM

Bob, does Mikie still need your spotting scope when he uses his shotgun on the 15' target?

mikiec 03-24-2011 09:06 AM

I need the spotting scope just to see the sights.

mikiec 03-25-2011 07:53 AM

The Arizona Outdoor Expo is going on at Ben Avery this week end. Not sure how this effects the main range.

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 03-25-2011 05:43 PM

Mikie, since it's just you and me, if you want to postpone 1 week so I can bring my new rifle, it's OK
That Outdoor Expo is going to bring out a lot of people. I'm up for Saturday anyway. Might be fun to see what's there.
See you at 10am unless you call.
AZ Bob

mikiec 03-25-2011 07:48 PM

Let's go. If the main range is full we can look around.

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 03-26-2011 01:01 PM

Good day to go. Not busy at all. Paul G joined us with his Glock. We killed some paper. Mikie's got his new AR-15 dialed in at 25 and 50 yards. Nice gun. New XD-9 also very accurate.

Dan, what is your weapon of choice?

John, AKA, tin-man

mikiec 03-27-2011 09:17 AM

Hiding behind his wife.

Danr55 03-27-2011 10:43 AM

Mike, that's not a weapon, that's doing what he is told.

That is funny but me and my wife both carry a S&W Airlite .357 mag.
I load .38s in the wifes gun as the .357 mag kicks to hard for her.

For general shooting I like my Ruger MK2 .22 cuz it's cheap and second is a 9mm because it's also pretty cheap.

When I feel like wasting money I like to shoot my Glock .357sig.

When I think Danr is in the hood I get out my Sig .556 assult rifle.:D
