Put car over on Club Forum
Want to pay off house; Asking 60,000; have 85,000 in it. If I sell it I sell it. Not going to give it away. See pictures in Fitz Galleria. Have to start using the boat! email if you like; tons of pictures during build. Too much extra stuff to mention. Local guys know the car.....about time for the Hard top and Air to come on? Gordon said he couldn't build the car for under 100,000anymore? (now that was few years ago i know)

Fitz,
Good Luck, I hope you can get that but in this economy it may be tough I decided not sell my csx as things have picked up for my business but I would of been lucky to get $75-80K for my csx in this economy. You can always sell the boat and keep the cobra:MECOOL: |
Ron, Fitz has had both available for sale for years. Good luck there Fitz.
AZ Bob |
My bad - I didnt know the boat was for sale as well. Best of luck Fitz

not sure if this is correct, but, pictures would be nice along with year built, how much power and type of torque. Is there any guarantee, and oh by the way, how much? One more, does Jo know she's on the block? Fitz, I never knew any fine upstandin' gent who'd sell off his woman, is there a back story here, or is Mikec jus' makin' trouble AGAIN? Cheers, John AKA, tin-man |
"According to Fitz.. Even Jo is for sale."
That could be the buy of the century! |

2. Enough HP to pull a battleship into drydock 3. Enough torque to stop the planet from spinning 4. I guarantee that it will get away from you and it will get wrecked if you show off in it 5. Beyond repair... Everyone knows this car, it is slightly peppy and a touch on the loud side. $60K should cover the engine... |
Now boys...
I have so many dam pictures (check out my galleria) of this car and so many as it was being built from scratch. I can email pictures to anyone that is really interested. Wife will kill me for doing this but cash is god right now. I hardly use the car. Today I had it taken in for some nut and bolt check for fun run and the guy said he checked everything and didn't find anything to tighten. Built/finished in early 2005; Asking 65,000; a lot less then two/three years ago. Dynoed at B & R Automotive at 585 Torq and I thought he said 535 HP? All Dynoes are different. I remember Bob Reams telling me "Now Bob, the last thing we will do is pull a spark plug and if it is the right color/shade you have a good engine. He smiled and said I had a dam good engine (408 Stroker/Levy/Travis built). 5 speed, TKO 600, hard top, Air, 18inch wheels on Mich PS2 rubber; great stereo. Remember this is my second engine in this car. This one has about 13-15,000 miles on it and has been absolutely babied and over serviced. I am serious about selling it now. It is over on Forum. If I sell it find, if not I will enjoy it. |
Errrr, hummmm Mulv, say Mulv, why didja have to go and say that?

Fitz,
I'll trade you my car and my wife for your car. My wife comes with a credit card balance that's more than your car !**) |
Fitz,
I sold my FFR on FFcars.com, you may want to list it there also. |
Tinny,
Maybe you should buy Fitz car, that way when your's is in the shop getting your motor re-done you will still have a ride.:D:D:D |

I am already gettin' a sweat on as a result of install issues with fitting the engine into the engine bay since its takin' so friggin' long to get that sorted, so I sincerely hope the engine doesn't do a fart on me after I take delivery. Like I said I don't take too kindly to bein' played and I have been told by Roush, all the issues that went before have been sorted and my 511 represents the latest of the breed. Missing parts to the contrary. Cheers, John, AKA, tin-man Cheers |
When I get time I will put it over on FFR site. Added a few pictures over on Cobra Forum. I must have 50 sorted out pictures during the build. I remember they even made the bottom of seat frames stronger by welding more metal there to protect your ass. Gordon built this car with tracking it in mind. After taking my blue car out at Bondurant and playing on the track I decided I did not want to mess with this red car. Too much money. I always change the rubber out on all my cars when they get to about 12-15,000miles. No worries that way. This thing turns on a dime but have never really pushed it. Last time I did I was on Highway 87 and past Karl like he was standing still and last time I turnned going really fast wife fell out of the car and rolled into the Roosevelt Lake. Ha!
This car had the 460 in it and it was dam nasty. Very mild now. Only drinks wine; no beer! Put it over there on FFR Forum |
Some of the items this car has.
