Car count will be taken at 9am at Marias.

Scotchman 05-06-2011 10:35 AM

I'd get up at 4am to ride with you guys. Last Saturday I was up at 4am. 1am, 2am, 3am, and 5am too. Just too excited to sleep before a ride. Bro knows. Did you hear the one about the golfer that got struck by lightening ??:D

Danr55 05-06-2011 11:00 AM

Are you going to get up in time for a 7:30 ride tomorrow is all that counts now.

Oh, and the golfer joke....twice.

Scotchman 05-06-2011 12:26 PM

Bull on the golfer joke. I bet you can't repeat it. If you can, I'll buy your lunch. And I will be there. The need for speed is back !

mikiec 05-06-2011 12:34 PM

West siders..

202WB is closed between Cooper and McQueen. Might be better to take the 101 to the 60.

Mike

Danr55 05-06-2011 02:15 PM

Hey this is supposed to be fun! We shoot at each other all year and people start gettimg wrinkled about this run every year. Mark, I dont know whats got your kilt in an uproar but nothing is said on here tbat isn't said tongue in cheek. Don't take it so seriously. Jeff I've never known you to be upset by being accused of running a chebby motor. Guess I stepped on some sensitive spot. Show up Saturday and chew my butt. Wow!

Karl Bebout 05-06-2011 03:35 PM

Mikiec, The section of the 202 that is closed, between Cooper and McQueen is 'way south of the 60 so I have no idea why westsiders would be going down there to get to Idaho Rd. off the 60, unless they were following you.

mikiec 05-06-2011 03:58 PM

Thanks Karl...

I do drive to my own drummer.

Back to my original plan. the 101 the 202 the 60.

But, then again.... Didn't you get the guys lost in the past? LOL LOL

Mike

Only when following Karl. If he gets his car done that won't happen again.

Tinner
Losser has to pay in $2 bills. Well at least John did. Still have the bills by the way.

vettestr 05-06-2011 09:41 PM

Dan, Now everybody is going to know that I am hiding a chebbie engine under the hood. Then they will figure out what a sensitive kinda guy I am too. Guess I should come clean and admit I really do like the color you painted your Hot Rod, what's it called again - orange rangoon?
I might come play with ya all in the morning. Can I bring my Chebbie.

John-Tucson 05-06-2011 10:43 PM

HESUS KHRISTUS, I'm gone a week and the whole shebang goes to hell! %/
Just like a bunch of kids when the adult leaves the house!
Now DAMMIT, get your toys out and play nice, I don't wanna hear anymore bickering while I'm gone! :3DSMILE:

By the way, the weather here this morning is 60 degrees with rain and possible thunder boomers all day, so far I made the right decision to have left the Redsnake in a milder climate. :p

Ralph, the adult! :LOL::LOL::LOL:

In order to get up, make and have my coffee, and actually be awake enough to drive I have to be up by 4:30 a.m. on my day off!!! I am planning on going but no promises.... Seriously, I need to form a splinter cell of the Arizona group who thinks these early morning drives are nuts! How about an after noon/evening drive once in a while??? Too hot in the afternoon to drive a convertible???? I think you East coast fellas need to move back home! LOL!

AZFM...Ain't you da guy with the vinyl covered hard top on his Cobra? That's a bit different from driving an open car when its 190 in the shade.

Maybe Mark's got air-conditioning in his Cobra and so he don't got to take the hard top off during summer, or maybe he's got a block of ice in the trunk cooling the beers??

Mark, so how does that work?

Karl, can you tell me when its ever got to 190 in the shade and where?

Maximum in Sun City West is 160 and that's after a Texas style good ole chilli cookout with lot's of beer.:LOL:
