Tucson Missed a Great Opportunity!
The annual Phx/Tucson challenge today was a very enjoyable ride. Morning temperatures in the 70s and barely into the 90s by the time Mesa Mike and I got back to the East Valley. The Phoenix Cobra gang could only muster 11 cars, but that was still enough to beat out Tucson's 7. John, of the Cleakos, was, as always, a gracious loser and supplied the Phoenix drivers with the historic ho house $2 bills to buy their Dairy Queen goodies in Superior. Too bad so many from both areas didn't bother to take advantage of probably the last of our cooler weather.
