Tinny, as far as China goes.... I blame Nixon.[/quote]

mikiec, it was the Bilderberg group and other groups that controll the world money markets , that advised China is ready to open up its markets to the west and Nixon was the man to do it. Nixon was to talk to the chairman. You can research this.

#1 I am not old enough for AARP or what ever that is I am still paying for, I think Karl is double dipping on my share. I have seen the youth, what ever it is I am sure the Dems will make a government project out of it and then it will go away or be outsourced. I do wish I would get what ever hand out they are giving... then I could afford to drive my real race car... the Cobra!

Bob.... it's magic!! (linked to my web site build pictures) I thought you were technically savvy...?)

dave from mesa 09-21-2011 09:24 PM

No AARP for me. I am old enough but try to not spend my money with anti-gun organizations.

Danr55 09-21-2011 09:33 PM

Car Nut 09-22-2011 03:29 PM

Scotchman 09-22-2011 07:23 PM

and so that is why most of us walk with a swagger, carry a big stick, have big brass ballz, do shots, like our wimmin hot, wear tee shirts that proclaim DFWM and don't take chit from anyone, anywhere, at anytime. So Ron, when you start throwin' out expletives like old pharts, may I suggest that you consider the audience you is dealin' with.;) While we is all fine upstanding gents n'all we have been know to be brutal. Take Mikie for example, I'm thinkin' he would be inclined to savage you with his silk purse if sufficiently provoked and I for one would not like to stir his ire. tin-man

Danr55 09-23-2011 10:18 AM

...and you've never been savaged until you've been savaged by Mikie with his silk purse...... He learned everything he knows from Ginny.

and not to take this lightly, the silk purse that Mike was seen wearing is not as it seems, it is the latest "Kung Fu" self protection device developed by the the Chinese secret service and is made available for party members and their wives. Its considered a unisex shoulder bag. The purse is a lethal weapon, the straps are made of 50mm reinforced nylon and are used as a garrotte and the purse itself has Kevlar strips sewn into the outside that are honed to a razor sharp edge that can when swung forcefully literally can slice thru a neck. So when you see Mike again wearing such a purse, may I suggest you do not call him an old phart, he may react violently. Just a heads up.

I would be concerned about mikiec wearing a purse at all, let alone one of those - or is it a European Shoulder bag??

Tinner, if you're right, wouldn't it be a Chinese shoulder bag?

csx4910 09-24-2011 06:19 PM

A Made in China logo might as well be a "made in america" tag since they and the Japanese own more than 50% of our country

Ordinarily you would think so but the Chinese are inscrutable and thus have learned how to market their products. Face it, who would buy a Chinese shoulder bag as opposed to a European shoulder bag, the European shoulder bag has more panache behind the branding image, like I said these folks are clever. Tell you how clever they are, China is investing heavily in Afghanistan copper mines and infrastructure development and building schools and communities in certain regions, whereas the USA is not,. go figure and guess who has the mineral mining rights? Just getting ready to wind our season down here. It's leaf peeping time now. Chances are within the next month it will snow here. After that I don't take it out no matter how warm since the sand on the road messes stuff up.

P.S. If anyone there is looking for a sweet ride mine is still available. Since I've located the Ford GT I'm motivated to move the Cobra.

Scott McClain 10-01-2011 10:43 PM

I'm ready to go on four wheels this fall, please keep me in the loop. I know it has been a while... been treating my knuckles to some wind for a few years.
