Kit Cars on the Colorado 4
Well, the Laughlin trip is done again. Great weather, great time. Cars all ran well. Everyone made it home, I think.
3 of us got warning tickets for 85+ on I-40 by an understanding, older DPS officer. The rest got away. No big gambling winners. Mikie won the "Suck-Off." 3 of the 5 trophy winners were AZCobra people. Bill B., Dennis M. and Bob M. Another trip to Oatman. Normal shopping, movie and lots of beer and peanuts thanks to Bill G. AZ Bob with my hybrid BB got 18.1mpg going and 19.1mpg coming. |

Yup, so was Dennis M. Me thinks the cop got bored with stopping trucks and wanted a closer look at cobras. We should donate our warnings to "Warning Boy" Mikie C.
I got better milage going home probably because Dan Shinn wasn't leading. He drives fast! Thank you again to Ginny and Mikie for another successful weekend. Several of us even bought our 2012 Fun Run t-shirts. AZ Bob |
Danr drives fast? Either he was trying to impress his sweetie, he was trying to p*ss her off, or he was so happy that his car was running, and not out of gas, that he just kept down on the happy pedal.

I was trying to conserve fuel! My car gets 15 to 20 MPG at 85 to 115 mph as opposed to 10 mpg at 75 mph.. go figure! |

Scotty, the white donkey was commenting on the orange color of the Cobra parked at the curb. He doesn't like it any more than Karl does. Karl by the way now has a car that runs. Have you heard? I know, I was as surprised as you are. It's only been three years.
