And then Karl chiming in with, ". ..Food was marginal but..."
What the hell are you guys talking about?
I had a great 1/3 lb. cheeseburger, with thick slices of tomato and red onion plus lettuce, pickles and a whole bunch of other condiments, also beans (mine with Tabasco sauce) and greasy potato chips.
Just what were you expecting from a Jake's Corner Bar? Ruth's Chris Steak House, for Cripes Sake?
You must have been in the Service, cause that's where you learned the phrase,
"They ain't happy til they got something to complain about!:"
Sure beat the sh!t out of cold C-Rations in a war zone!!!
AND besides, mine was FREE, my navigator, Chuck, paid for it!
Happy Ralph, at Jake's Corner.

Who wound Ralph up? Doesn't he know that Karl is now a conesewer now when it comes to food? (and that is spelled correctly!) Karlos isn't happy until the food is swimming in chile and salsa.
I must admit that the chicken was dry and the beans were a bit mild, but all in all, it was a great experience.
