Finally back from Oregon--
Car is here in AZ--and in primer -- looks awesome--Has been put out in the sun each day for the last month-- Should be painted within the next 10 days--then major post paint work--
Engine is done--and should be a beast-- 359 Cubic inch Motorsport "R" block (stroked to 347 and bored) Fodge Engineering Fuel injection (looks like webers)--pretty trick--balanced and blueprinted--interanlly balanced crank-- Canfield heads with major porting and flow work-- Built to rev extremely quickly and high-- 11:1 compression-- Custom headers and custom (larger diameter side pipes)-- Will be loud--Oh well--
This one has been designed and built for torque--
Will Dyno it when it is in the car -- We have calculated to be at around 500HP and around 500 Ft/lbs of torque--at the crank-Give or take--
Hershal-- I am anxious to see your GT 40 project--
Let me know how to get in touch with you-- I think I had your phone# at one time--
Getting close --but don't expect to be done until the end of the year--
Will see many of you at the next function-- BTW -- When is the next function?
It is good to be back--
Jim
