Hey Dale, thanks for your information about those roads. It's difficult for me being 150 miles south to know that. Are there any roads in that area that would be interesting and enjoyable to drive ?

Guys, I just talked with Gil from the Pantera club and it looks like we will have some Panteras along with us. All of these Ford products on the road at the same time should send the bow ties scurrying for cover. I've had to move the date up a week to Sept 16. I hope that works for everyone. Let's hear from those interested in going, please.

Departure from The Mobil Station at US 60 and Ironwood on Saturday 9/15, at 0730 Hrs. We can hook up with the Tucson guys in Superior again. Lunch at Hannigan Meadow around 1:00 and then into Springerville for the night. We'll leave Springerville around 8:30 Sunday and head back. I'll leave it up to consensus whether we return through Payson or use Salt River Canyon or split up and go both ways.

I've spoken with the folks at America's Best in Springerville. We have the same price as last year. $55.00 for a single room and $62 for a double for the night of September 15. The phone number is 928-333-2655 and be sure to mention that you are with the Arizona Cobras.

OK, I have my room reserved. I asked about my sheep and they wanted to know if it was male or female, if it was ever married and could they put it in a room by itself. I told them I would need a bicycle pump.
