Pedal Bender

Anybody have one I can borrow?

Danr55 08-18-2012 03:34 AM

Talk to Karl. He usually has a couple hanging around.

Sminor 08-18-2012 08:23 AM

Two big cresent wrenches do it for me. Tighten one on the pedal and tighten the other on the wrench handle- bend the pedal shaft till it suits you.:)

Thanks, I'll give that a try first.

You don't want the one from Karl (if he has one). You will have to bend it 5-7 times. :D

Dave, I was talking about you and Mike!

Karl Bebout 08-18-2012 08:22 PM

Thank you Danr. Mesa Dave just has an attitude because virtually everything about my car has taken multiple tries.

Danr55 08-18-2012 09:22 PM

You build it nice because you build it twice... Bow tie and all.

mikiec 08-18-2012 09:52 PM

They built it twice because they messed it up on the first try. Actually they built it 4 times.

Jaydee 08-19-2012 03:25 AM

Would you need to heat it up first?

Negative. The steel is tempered to bend a little. No point in setting your cockpit on fire when there is soooo much asphalt out there.
Hope this helps,
steve
