Two big cresent wrenches do it for me. Tighten one on the pedal and tighten the other on the wrench handle- bend the pedal shaft till it suits you.

You don't want the one from Karl (if he has one). You will have to bend it 5-7 times.

They built it twice because they messed it up on the first try. Actually they built it 4 times.

Negative. The steel is tempered to bend a little. No point in setting your cockpit on fire when there is soooo much asphalt out there.
