AZ Cobras Anniversary Party Dec 8th

The time is near. Have you picked up your unwrapped toys for the Marines' "Toys for Tots" collection. The marines will be there with large vehicles to fill. They will also get choice rides and choose their favorite cobra. Have you bought your Yankee swap gift? $15 or so. Lots of good sales right now. Great time trading. Lots of food and good humor. Safe burn out in parking upon arrival or if you have a Marine passenger.
Weather looks great. I can't wait.
I'll be picking up and delivering the tables on Thursday Dec 6th.
Thanks again to Dennis May at 16441 N. 91st St.
See you there about 10am to 4pm

AZ Bob

Hi guys, my name is Chris Santor and live in Buckeye during the winter months from Reno. I brought my MK III down with me this year and was wondering when and where you guys meet. I am also on the FFR forum as Santor2. Would love to hear from you guys. Thanks

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 11-30-2012 08:48 AM

Chris, join us for our annual Xmas party Saturday, Dec 8th. You will see a lot of cobras and meet a lot of drivers. Our west side group meets twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Bob, tell him where!

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 11-30-2012 02:54 PM

We meet Tuesday nights about 5pm for dinner, usually outdoors, at the 5 N Diner near the south west corner of 75th Ave and Bell Rd, Peoria.
We meet Saturday evenings about 4pm for bench racing in the Goodwill parking lot (SW corner) at 83rd Ave and Lake Pleasant Parkway, Peoria.

Oh, there's a party coming up?

santor2 12-01-2012 12:47 PM

Thanks Bob, I will try and make it on Tuesday at 5pm at 5 and Diner. Unfortunately my wife and I are heading back to Reno for Christmas on the 6th for the month, but will stay in contact when we get back in January.

mikiec 12-01-2012 05:29 PM

Going to Reno or attending our gathering? I call it a no brainer..... Cobra gathering wins.

DonMorse 12-02-2012 08:40 PM

What,Mike said.

santor2 12-03-2012 09:11 PM

My wife says that if I don't g home with her, the real Cobra will come out. Haha.
Stil looking forwaed to meeting you guys tomorrow night.

Chris, be careful of what you wish for. The Westies are a slippery bunch. Now those of us, living in "God's Country" aka East Valley, are generally a fine, upstanding bunch (Danr not with standing)

Danr55 12-04-2012 11:43 AM

He's so short how can you tell if he's standing or not? Oh, wait a minute. That's me.. and you can tell if I'm standing if my feet are on the floor. You can bet if he's standing, it's with rather than without. Always packin'.

We never knew about this club within a club (The Westies), cool, might see you tonight.
Chris, I wish we'd of known about you before the Bosie State vs Nevada game. Being from Idaho, there would be a little good natured razing going on.

DonMorse 12-05-2012 09:19 AM

Air what?

Danr55 12-05-2012 02:24 PM

Com'on Bill, you know..."air force experiences"......Hot showers and cooked meals, dry bunks, hot coffee before breakfast....breakfast... all that stuff the flying club members had that the gravel grunts didn't have.

mikiec 12-05-2012 05:48 PM

Dennis, Ginny and I will be there about 8:45am to start setting up. Is this OK for you? Don't forget your keys.

Mike

Are guns allowed? Heard this year we had a clay pig'eon set up so can we bring the shot guns to play? Maybe shoot Bob in the knee cap or something....like Cheney or the Hillary Cronicles in AR
