Meet Place for Buckeye Air/Car Show Saturday
How about meeting at the Love's Travel Stop (truck stop) in Buckeye on Miller Rd just south of the I-10 at exit 114
1610 S Miller Rd Buckeye, AZ 85326 1610 S Miller Rd Buckeye, AZ 85326 - Google Maps
The airport is at exit 109 just west on I-10. All can fuel up and fill up drinks, snacks etc. We can arrive in mass.
Before 8am since we are to be at gate by 8:30 latest and I know Dan takes forever to get in his car.
Plan ahead, this is farther out west than you think. About 20 miles west of the I-101 interchange.

Bob,
You want to depart love's truck stop at 8am to arrive before 8:30 or arrive at the airport at 8am? I'll meet you at Love's but give me a departure time so if I'm running late I'll just go directly to the air port and see you there.

The idea is to depart the Love's Truck Stop at 8am. I understand the organizers want us in place before public starts parking since we are parking in vendor spot not show spot.

Mike, I know of several that said they were attending from the AZ Cobras PHX Clan: Besides you, Dan, Greg, Jeff, me, Don, Bill, Bob, Fitz? We only said there would be 6 to 8 attending. This is the AZ Cobras, there will always be more show up.

Mikiec, Would you get up at 4:45 am so that you could leave at 5:15 am and drive 156 miles in 40 degree temps to meet the Phoenix Cobra guys at 8:00 am ? Oh, I forgot, you aren't going to attend.
Mike, it looks like there will be three of us, the number keeps dropping.
Bob, Bill is doing a great job of keeping everyone in the loop via emails.

John, I would love to be there. However, I committed to taking my grandson to his football game as his Father is going hunting and his mother is working.
Take lots of pics.

Bill, the Wildflower Bread Company on Litchfield, just below McDowell. Great coffee and super good pastries.

Bill's last minute problems
Naturally, it's Murphy's Law. Just filled up with Shell Vpower and drove down to Gateway Chev to get Andrew and his Datona to come tomorrow. The engine proceeded to buck, cough, fart, backfire, etc while going thru the gears. Did it so bad it blew off two of my mesh filters on the road somewhere. Idles OK but bucks thru all the gears. Can't be the gas, maybe fuel pump. Feels like an electrical problem. Checked everything I could but no joy. Doesn't matter though, I will drive it tomorrow anyway. It's just plastic, right? See ya'll tomorrow morning with the Dunkin's. Bill B

Just fitted my soft top for the first time this winter. Should make for a toasty ride from Rio Verde! If it warms up enough, I might fold it back up into the trunk at the show, we'll see.
Is Mesa Mike the only ESSC-regular going?
Thanks,
Will
