East Bumscrew Mesa RUMOR

Yesterday, I heard that one of our assteemed AZ Cobra Club members, from the East Valley, was going to have his Cobra used as a prop during a photo shoot of a very pretty 16 year old young lady.

Not saying just who this is but I'll bet he's hoping the photographers have the right filters so that the pictures of his car don't look quite so CHEVY ORANGE.

Mike Brasfield 04-19-2013 01:01 PM

yuck, who has an orange Cobra?

Danr55 04-20-2013 04:39 AM

Chevy Orange Cobra? That's a terrible color.

Scotchman 04-20-2013 07:24 AM

Who in their right mind would put a chevy motor in a cobra ? Only a :JEKYLHYDE:JEKYLHYDE personality would do that.**)**)

Karl Bebout 04-20-2013 07:55 AM

Scotty, what on earth does my choice of HP have to do with this dastardly rumor? Besides, I HATE TO BE LATE! hence, my choice.

Danr55 04-20-2013 07:57 AM

Seems to me you're already starting about 2 1/2 years late... Most of that because of the Chebby HP.. Since you're up, I'll bring your tool back this morning.

mikiec 04-20-2013 02:16 PM

Why, were you using Karl's tool?

You think Dan borrowed Karl's "Vacuum Pump?"
%/:eek::LOL::LOL::LOL:
Ralph:MECOOL:

Karl Bebout 04-20-2013 10:53 PM

Ralphie...different kinda pump.

Danr, you are absolutely right. My Chevy HP did get me into trouble when the back end broke loose at 90 and shoved me out through the desert. I guess there might also have been just a little operator error.

Danr55 04-21-2013 04:19 AM

I was thinking more about the attempt to put it back together again. That seems to be proving difficult.

Karl Bebout 04-21-2013 10:26 AM

"the attempt to put it back together again. That seems to be proving difficult"

Danr, you are so correct! If if if I had any idea it would have been so difficult, I woould have just bought another car and been driving it the last four years....except when it was broken.

Karl Bebout 04-23-2013 08:00 AM

So, Danr, you gonna post a picture or three from the photo shoot? I realize it was for some pros but I'm just sure you were snappin' away, too.

Danr55 04-23-2013 08:05 AM

Yes. I'll put some up later today or tomorrow.. or soon.

mikiec 04-23-2013 07:44 PM

Karl, I believe many of us told you to just get another one. I applaud your attempt at rebuilding your old one, but not the amount of time it has taken.

Mike

Here are some of the photos from the shoot. Remember when she was 10 at Tortilla Flats?

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 04-24-2013 09:30 AM

That car should be blue.

Just sayin.

AZ Bob

Karl Bebout 04-24-2013 12:05 PM

The girl's sure a cutie and the car sure is ORANGE!

Danr55 04-24-2013 12:42 PM

There you go being half right again.

Karl Bebout 04-24-2013 01:03 PM

Danr, you sayin' the girl isn't a cutie? I don't know anyone that would think that, or that your car doesn't look VERY orange in the pictures.

Danr55 04-24-2013 02:38 PM

Karl, In all seriousness, are you red/orange color blind? The red in those pictures is bleeding into everything around it.
