Maybe if I looked more like Mick I could have gotten next to Stevie a few decades ago.

Just figured I always had better things to do with my hormones than grow hair.

Danr55 06-09-2013 11:26 PM

Karl, it takes a hell of a man to make a hormone!

Karl Bebout 06-10-2013 11:35 AM

Somebody musta told you that.

There is always Photoshop...

cycleguy55 05-26-2014 01:21 PM

I have created and posted a diagram (Test diagram - West Coast Cobra on Tow Dolly - Club Cobra Photo Gallery) depicting the rise due to the platform height, drawing a straight line through the rear wheels and extending beyond - I think it will work.

I was hoping to find someone with experience using a dolly or, even better, this particular dolly.

Bob…I was pulling a trailer in CA once and stopped for gas. There was a CHP so I approached him and said I felt in danger pulling the trailer at 55mph. He informed me that the CHP does not enforce that speed limit for cars pulling trailers. As long as they are not exceeding a safe speed. "Safe speed", figure that one out. I read it as not passing other cars on the freeway. I now drive about 70 in CA when pulling a trailer.

Scotchman 05-27-2014 08:19 AM

Mike,
We were coming back from the Dunes outside Yuma years ago, and got a speeding ticket pulling our trailer. I think we were doing 69, rather than the 55 mph posted for vehicles pulling trailers. Quite expensive. Have you passed any patrol cars speeding yet ?

DWRAT 05-27-2014 08:36 AM

Towing over the 55 mph speed limit in Cali is asking for a $800+ ticket.
I know this first hand and have seen several people pulled over with trailers.

Scotchman, you're a duner? I have been duning so long that I am almost burned out on them and all the Idiots there.
